Latin America's flagship stablecoin event, hosted by Bitso at the World Trade Center in Mexico City. The agenda covers payments, regulation, cross-border transfers, security, and TradFi-DeFi convergence across the region's most active corridors. Stablecoins Unblocked | July 1 | London

A one-day, policy-forward conference hosted at Clifford Chance, billed as the UK's premier full-day event on stablecoins and global digital money. The 2026 agenda covers institutional use cases, geopolitical impact, non-USD stablecoins, and UK regulatory developments, with speakers drawn from policy, legal, banking, and payments (past rosters have included Visa, the FCA, and Stripe). Nigeria Stablecoin Summit | July 30 | Lagos

A focused one-day gathering hosted by the Africa Stablecoin Network at the Lagos Oriental Hotel, bringing together policymakers, stablecoin issuers, fintechs, and regulators. Topics include cross-border payments, financial inclusion, currency volatility, and digital finance infrastructure for emerging markets. Nigeria is sub-Saharan Africa's largest remittance market, with $20.93 billion (USD) in personal remittance inflows in 2024, so the corridor relevance is real. Stablecon USA 2026 | September 9-11 | National Harbor (Washington, DC area)

The flagship edition of Stablecon, deliberately placed near Washington for proximity to policy. A one-day summit at Andaz Singapore for roughly 500 leaders across payments, policy, and digital assets, hosted by XREX Group and the Unitas Foundation. The focus is enterprises and financial institutions doing high-volume cross-border payments, with programming on real-world use cases, compliance, and regional regulatory frameworks. Point Zero Forum | June 23-25 | Zurich

A policy-technology dialogue convening roughly 2,000 central bankers, regulators, and industry leaders at Kongresshaus Zurich, hosted by GFTN and the Swiss State Secretariat for International Finance. The Digital Assets track names stablecoins, compliance, interoperability, and cross-border payments as core priorities. Blockchain.RIO | August 12-13 | Rio de Janeiro

Latin America's largest blockchain event, expecting 15,000+ attendees and 400+ speakers, with a leaders' day on August 11. The institutional lens is strong for a Web3-branded show: coverage spans tokenization, DREX and CBDCs, regulation, and digital finance, with Brazil's central bank and major banks in the room. Sibos 2026 | September 28 - October 1 | Miami Beach

The 2026 content pillars put stablecoins inside "Borderless Financial Architecture," alongside cross-border modernization, tokenization, and settlement. The real product is meeting density: banks, payments companies, and tech giants converge for four days of dealmaking, and most serious attendees schedule 20-40 meetings before they land. MERGE Madrid | October 27-29 | Madrid

One of Europe's better institutional-bridge events, drawing 3,000+ attendees and 200+ speakers across an institutional summit at the Madrid Stock Exchange and a main congress at Palacio de Cibeles. The program explicitly covers stablecoins in practice for next-generation cross-border payments, and the sponsor history (Visa, PayPal, Circle, Tether, Paxos, Bridge) tells you who treats it seriously. Hong Kong FinTech Week | November 2-6 | Hong Kong

CrossTech World | November 17-19 | Miami Beach

The most commercially concentrated cross-border payments event on this list. CrossTech World at the Eden Roc gathers 554 companies from 105+ countries, and the audience is operators: money transfer companies, fintechs, banks, and the infrastructure providers that serve them. Tickets run $1,895 (USD), with a $2,245 combined pass covering both 2026 CrossTech events. If your buyer is a remittance or payments operator, this room converts better than shows ten times its size. Singapore FinTech Festival | November 18-20 | Singapore

One of the world's largest fintech gatherings, organized by the Monetary Authority of Singapore at Singapore EXPO, with explicit 2026 programming on digital assets, tokenization, and building a settlement layer with stablecoins and tokenized deposits. The differentiator is official density: hundreds of central banks, regulators, and government organizations attend, which makes SFF the best single venue in APAC for policy and institutional overlap at scale. • Skip if: Your November budget went to CrossTech World; the overlap is near-total

Crypto-native events worth monitoring

These events matter to the stablecoin ecosystem, but the audience skews toward protocols, developers, and investors rather than payments buyers. Attend them for issuer relationships, chain partnerships, and developer hiring, not for fintech pipeline.

• TOKEN2049 Singapore (October 7-8, Marina Bay Sands) is the world's largest crypto event, with 25,000+ attendees and substantial stablecoin, RWA, and payments coverage. It earns a partial exception to this category: the side-event circuit during TOKEN2049 week now includes serious institutional and payments programming, including the Stablecoin Summit above. 
• Korea Blockchain Week (September 29 - October 1, Seoul) opens with a private institutional forum and is the best window into Korean digital asset policy. 
• Devcon 8 (November 3-6, Mumbai) is the Ethereum Foundation's developer conference, relevant if your stack settles on Ethereum or its L2s. 
• Solana Breakpoint (November 15-17, London) makes its European debut with a push toward institutional capital, relevant if Solana is part of your settlement stack. 
• Bitcoin MENA and Abu Dhabi Finance Week (both December 7-10, Abu Dhabi) close the year; ADFW in particular convenes sovereign and institutional capital at a scale worth watching even if you skip the Bitcoin side.
