What is the Due Referrals Promotion?
Through this Promotion (the “Promotion”), eligible Due customers can invite others to Due and get rewarded with USDc for spreading the love.
These terms and conditions (the “Terms”) are binding on the owners and authorised users of the participating Due Accounts (the “Referrer”) and the owners and authorised users of the Due Accounts who were referred through this Promotion (the “Referred”), and set forth the requirements necessary for the Referrer to earn the reward (the “Reward”).
Who can participate?
Any customer with an active Due account can participate and refer their peers to Due. Your account must be active and in good standing, and have successfully gone through account verification.The following are not eligible to participate: (i) employees, directors, and agents of Due, as well as their close family members; (ii) duplicate accounts or accounts controlled by the same individual or entity (self-referrals are prohibited); (iii) accounts that are blocked or under investigation. Due may set a maximum limit of Rewards per Referrer and per period (e.g., 50 Rewards per calendar year) and may amend or publish such limits in the Referrals section.
What do I (the Referrer) need to do?
All eligible participants will be given a referral link that is unique to their Due Account. Your link can be found in:
- the Email Invite sent to the email address linked to your Due Account, and
- the In-app Banner within the Due Platform’s Referrals section.
To earn the Reward, just invite others to Due using your unique referral link, and encourage them to complete the necessary steps on their end.
What does the Referred need to do?
Once invited via your referral link, the Referred just needs to complete the following steps:
- Sign up to Due and activate their account. Make sure they do this through your referral link; otherwise the Reward may not be properly allotted.
- Verify their account. If the Referred fails our verification checks, you will not be eligible for the Reward for this specific referral.
- Make at least one fiat deposit or transfer using their new Due Account (minimum amount requirements apply).
- If the Referred customer is an Individual, the minimum required amount for a transaction to qualify is 20 USDc or equivalent (using the exchange rate at the time of transaction), excluding fees.
- If the Referred customer is a Business, the minimum required amount for a transaction to qualify is 200 USDc or equivalent (using the exchange rate at the time of transaction), excluding fees.
There is no set deadline for the Referred to complete these steps, but the faster they do, the faster you will receive the Reward.
What is the Reward?
The amount of the Reward will always be displayed and agreed in the Email Invite and the In-app Banner within the Referrals section.
The Reward will be in USDc and will be credited to the Referrer’s Due Account.
You will receive the Reward for each account you successfully refer to Due. As an example, if you successfully refer 10 customers, you will receive the Reward 10 times – so get going!
Each Reward will be paid within 10 working days after the Referred completes all steps required for the Referrer to earn the Reward.
The Reward is granted in a stablecoin-type token (USDc). The regulatory treatment of stablecoins is subject to applicable laws and regulations, including, but not limited to, the European Markets in Crypto-Assets Regulation (MiCA), and supervision by competent authorities. Due reserves the right to suspend or modify the use or distribution of stablecoins in response to changes in applicable laws, regulations, or supervisory guidance.
Anything else?
- This Promotion is organised and offered by Due Ltd and its subsidiaries. By signing up and using our products and services, the Referrer and the Referred are subject to our Terms of Service.
- These Terms set out the rules that apply to the Due Referrals Promotion. You must comply with these Terms in order to participate in this Promotion.
- As part of this Promotion, Due will process the participants’ personal data in compliance with our Privacy Policy.
- You are prohibited from using your account to transact and/or facilitate transactions on another’s behalf. A unique account must be created for each business or individual that is referred to Due; this is not an Agent setup.
- We may suspend or end this Promotion at any time if we believe the Promotion is being abused or may negatively affect Due’s goodwill or reputation. We can cancel this Promotion or change its Terms (including the Reward amount or its structure) at any time without advance notice.
- If any changes are made to these Terms, the updated version will be published on our website and will become effective on the date it is published. Your participation, eligibility and rights prior to such changes will not be affected, unless required by any applicable law.
- The receipt of the Reward may have tax implications depending on the participant’s country of residence and applicable laws. Due does not provide tax advice. Participants are responsible for complying with their own tax obligations and should seek independent professional advice if needed. Due may be required to report certain payments to relevant authorities where required by applicable regulations.
- We reserve the right to revoke or not disburse the Rewards if we become aware you were not compliant with these Promotion Terms or our Terms of Service.
- We reserve the right to deny our products/services in line with our Terms of Service.
- Due will not be liable for any loss, whether directly or indirectly suffered, as a result of any events outside of its control.
- If we have grounds to believe that you have engaged in any fraud or material abuse, we may in our sole discretion take any actions we see fit.
